Free, and what that means
Bideo terms

What Bideo is
Bideo is the registration, the calendar invite, the reminders and the attendance count around a webinar. The video meeting itself is yours — you paste the link to the room you already use, or make one with your own Whereby key. We do not host video, and we do not charge for it.
The price
Bideo costs nothing. There is no trial that runs out, no cap on registrants, and no invoice.
In return we get two things, and they are the whole deal.
The first: we may write to you
You — the organizer — agree that Skiwo may email you about our other products. This is what pays for Bideo being free.
You can opt out at any time, with the link at the bottom of such an email or by replying to one. Your Bideo account continues unchanged; access is not tied to your answer.
The second is our name: every page your attendees see says "Organized with bideo.app". That line cannot be turned off on the free plan.
Your registrants are yours, not ours
We send registrants only the letters about the webinar they signed up for: confirmation, reminders, "we are live", and the recording. Nothing about Bideo, nothing about other Skiwo products, nothing about other events.
We do not sell your list, lend it out or market to it. The registration page promises the attendee that only you see their details, and these terms cannot say otherwise.
Attendees never see each other's email addresses.
Who decides about the data
You decide what the registrant list is used for. Bideo stores it and sends the letters on your behalf, and does nothing else with it.
Delete a webinar and its registrants and send ledger go with it. Unpublish it and the sends stop and the public page stops answering.
A free service
We look after Bideo and we would like it to work every time. But it is free, so we cannot promise uptime, a support response time, or that the service will be here forever.
If something does go wrong — a reminder that did not arrive, a room that did not open — we are not able to carry the cost of it, either for the event itself or for any loss that follows. That is the one thing free does not stretch to.
Use is open both ways: you can stop whenever you like, and if we ever have to change or end the service we will tell organizers with upcoming webinars in good time, so you can take your registrant lists with you.
If your webinar is the kind where a missed reminder would be genuinely awkward, it is perfectly reasonable to choose something you pay for. We would rather say so now than have you find out on the day.
Bideo is run by Skiwo AS.
